I provide a relationship-based therapeutic process in which children, teens, and adults can develop their strengths and apply new strategies to manage the circumstances that bring them frustration, conflict, pain, and impede their sense of accomplishment and progress in daily life. I work from a psychodynamic framework and also maintain that our thoughts generate most of our negative emotional experiences, and that cognitive-behavioral strategies are useful in changing the quality of our experience. A mindful approach to healthy emotional balance is also an aspect of my perspective.
