Survey says...

"Cultural Tolerance for Divorce Grows to 70%" according to a Gallup pole.

The finding published last week by Gallup noted that amongst issues such as the death penalty, assisted suicide, and homosexual relationships, the moral acceptance of divorce had the highest growth.

The article also provides a detailed look at different populations beliefs regarding divorce. For instance, divorce is much more accepted amongst Catholics than Protestants, similarly for Liberals and conservatives.

Gallup positively notes, "People going through divorce often deal with a range of difficult emotions, including anger, sadness, trepidation, remorse, and a sense of failure. One issue becoming less and less a factor in that gut-wrenching mix is the sting of moral condemnation."
