Nicole Coleman
Nicole Coleman completed her Master's of Social Work degree at University of Kentucky where she also earned a Certificate in Trauma-Informed Practice. Her undergraduate studies focused on the impact of family conflict across the lifespan. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) from Pennsylvania State University. She is a licensed social worker in Pennsylvania, with the majority of her professional and volunteer efforts being focused upon court advocacy and coordinating resources for low-income custody clients and victims of crime. She also provides clinical mental health services as she works towards her LCSW. Nicole has worked within domestic violence, sexual assault, child advocacy, and criminal court programs across Pennsylvania and Georgia since 2001. Nicole also spent three years providing services to dementia and hospice patients, an experience she credits as her greatest source of education. She has a passion for trauma-informed care being more than a buzzword and believes in empowering families through accessible tools and buildable skills.
