Like many of you, I’m suspicious of lawyers. They’re probably just telling me what I want to hear to get me to fork over a large retainer. They are going to bill for every second they spend on my case. They are going to drag this out as long as possible to drive up their fees. I’m just a name on a file and a check in the mail to them.

I’m not like that. However, you really should take everything a lawyer says with a grain of salt. You will have to meet with me and make your own decision about whether or not I’m different from the rest.
